Overview

The system addresses key aspects associated with the management of training requirements,
scheduling and keeping detailed history.

Some of the primary elements include:

- General employee information including picture
- Flexible set up of courses
- Training log of scheduled and completed courses
- Option to schedule an employee for training if a course revision occurs
- Schedule training for a department

Screen/Report field titles changeable (terminology or language)

Employee Information

The employee detail input form records general information including hire date,
job position, address, free format notes, several user defined fields and picture.

 

Schedule a Course

To schedule a course for an employee,  you identify  the desired category/course and enter
the scheduled date.

 

Completed Course

When a course is taken, the completion date along with user defined elements of interest (eg. cost)
can be recorded.

 

Assigned Training

Assigned training is used to automatically schedule employees for a course when there is a course revision.

 

Schedule a Course by Department

An entire department can be scheduled to take a course.

 

Department Training Matrix

This report will show all employees in the specified department and indicate when they have completed
the specified category of courses.

Courses

A set of course categories and individual courses per category are created by the user.

If a course has a frequency, then the employee will be scheduled to take the course
again based on the frequency.

If there is a course revision and the course is assigned to an employee, the employee will be
scheduled to take the revised course.

 

Report Options

Various report options are available in order to tailor the reports to key areas of interest.

For example by using the filtering option one can generate a report for a specific
department or range of departments.

The date range option is used to identify training scheduled for a particular period.

 

Training Due Report

This report lists all employees with the courses scheduled but not completed for a particular date range.

 

Training Due - Course

This report identifies employees scheduled for training in a particular course.

 

Employee Training History

The history report provides details of courses taken for a specific employee.

Export Information

Reports can be exported to adobe .PDF files or attached to e-mail

Many popular spreadsheet, database, word processor and other file formats are supported.

 

Password Protection

At the discretion of the user, a password can be setup to restrict access to the software.
