 QC PRO Weibull
                Reliability

...Estimate product life, warranty periods and other reliability analysis

Overview

The system estimates reliability using probability plotting and maximum likelihood methods.

Some of the primary elements include:

- Weibull reliability plot with confidence bands
- Three parameter analysis
- Parameter confidence intervals
- Multiple censored data
- Modeling to predict reliability/failure age
- Comprehensive data table with rank values

Product Detail

Some of the practical features associated with a product includes:

- User customized field titles
- Picture of the product

Study Detail

For each product there can be many Weibull reliability studies. The study set up consists of information unique to the study including:

- Specifications
- Unit of measure
- Custom field contents
- Free format general notes

Test Value Data Entry

The test values are entered in a spread sheet like form. The status of the each
test value can be set to failed or censored.

Repeat Test Value

If the same test value appears a number of times, rather than entering
each value, it is possible to enter the value in a batch.

Report Options

Each product can have certain report elements set. Once saved, all studies
for the chosen product will use the settings.

This includes items such as:

- Estimate minimum life or manually set
- Plot confidence bands
- Use maximum likelihood methods
- Determine parameter confidence values
- Horizontal scaling - automatic or manual

Weibull Probability Plot

The probability plot includes the Median Rank values and best
fit line. The lower/upper confidence rank values along with curves
are also displayed.

Analysis Details

Several key results are tabulated in an information table including:

- Predicted reliability based on a specified failure age
-  B10, B50 and B90 failure ages
- Slope, characteristic life and minimum life values
- Correlation coefficient for best fit Weibull line

Predictive Modeling

The predictive modeling option allows for "what if" type of analysis.

A question such as given a certain failure age, what would the corresponding
predicted reliability be?

Another question of interest might be given a certain reliability what would the
corresponding predicted failure age be?

Data Table

The data table includes the test values, status, median rank, lower and upper
confidence rank values.

Language - Terminology

The field titles that appear on the screen and on the reports can be modified to
reflect language requirements or different terminology.

Password Protection

At the discretion of the user, password protection can be set up to restrict access
to the program.
